Thank you for sharing this valuable resource about exercise and breast cancer outcomes. Physical activity can be such an important part of the treatment journey, offering benefits for both physical strength and overall well-being during this challenging time. Many in this community have found that staying active, even in small ways, helps them feel more in control and connected to their bodies throughout treatment. What aspects of exercise have been most helpful or challenging for others here?

Despite the physical benefits the mental/emotional benefits that come from being physically active are life giving! Even if it’s something as I like as a walk, you will feel your mental mood shift for the better!

I was given information for Pathways -Sister Strong. Check it out. So many wonderful programs for cancer survivors (like 16 free 1:1 sessions with a trainer) I met with my amazing trainer and the workout was emotionally beneficial as well.

I have been working out since my first diagnosis in 2015, a mix of cardio and weight lifting. I had a dexa scan in March after my cancer metastasized to my lung. Me scan #s were 1.1 and .7. I am 70. My breathing was hard when diagnosed, but my O2 levels stayed high. I still work out most days. I am tired most of the time from meds, but I always feel better after a good workout.
