After my double mastectomy, and then my reconstruction surgery, has anyone else had to keep wearing a bra or if laying down your breasts are in your armpits, and it is painful.

Changes in how reconstructed breasts feel and move, especially when lying down, are experiences many people share after reconstruction surgery. This type of discomfort and positioning issue can be frustrating to navigate during recovery. Others in this community may have helpful tips about finding comfortable sleeping positions or supportive garments that have worked for them - hopefully some members will share their experiences with you.

I had a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction on August 28th (425cc implants). I wear a bra 24/7. I don’t experience pain, but my new boobs feel so unnatural, like they are in the way. I like my RxBra, but they are pricey. I recently found a very soft but supportive bra at Target that is comfortable.

Hi everyone, I also had the expanders & went silicon implants. I only wanted to fill to 300 when I had the second surgery the plastic surgeon put in 400 implants. Now I have to have a 3rd surgery and still playing with which medicine to take. Had a tumor in my appendix & Garrett's Disease which is pre cancer of the esophagus & stomach, if you don't stop eating and drinking everything with flavor & taste. I'm 63 and getting more depressed by the day.
