Just a quick question... I live in Dayton Tennessee ..I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2023. I had a mastectomy on right side on the 20th of October 2023. I have been cancer free since then an I have been getting an injection every month an taking anastrozole every day since I finished chemo in February of 2024... ok I need some recommendations about insurance.. as of April 30th the insurance i had has denied my an further assistance because I make to much.. I am in desperate need of cheap to $0 payments ..I have no ideas where to go an I can't afford to miss my oncologist appointments....Please help if u can point me in the right place.. Thank you

Finding affordable health insurance after cancer treatment can be challenging, but there are several options worth exploring in Tennessee. Consider checking Healthcare.gov for marketplace plans with subsidies, contacting your local health department about programs for cancer survivors, looking into patient assistance programs offered by pharmaceutical companies for your medications, and reaching out to organizations like CancerCare or the American Cancer Society who often have resources for insurance navigation and financial assistance specifically for ongoing cancer care.

Talk to your patient advocate where you get care. Also the American cancer society or cancer care. You should get answers and/or help from these organizations.
