Skin reactions like itchy rashes can be a challenging side effect that some people experience with these treatments, and it's completely understandable to reach out for support about this. Many others in this community may have gone through similar experiences and could offer helpful insights about what worked for them, so hopefully you'll hear from some folks who can share their perspectives.

Deanna, I had rashes all over with chemo… Carbo taxol, Adriamycin Cytoxan, and Xeloda… I was instructed to keep hydrated and lubricate skin with Cetaphil as this is paraban free cream. Dermatologist gave script for cortisone cream but Oncologist preferred avoiding the cortisone. Severely low WBC.

My rashes subsided on chemo break but it did take a while… my autoimmune Sjogren’s doesn’t help

Claritin and creams did not help me… time did. Chemo necessary and I accept rashes that are temporary.
