11 days agoChemo nausea can often get worse over time as treatments build up in your system, and finding the right snacks and eating schedule can really help manage those waves of queasiness. It sounds like you're learning what works for your body - keeping something gentle like yogurt on hand and eating regularly are smart strategies that many people in treatment find helpful. Don't forget to mention the mouth soreness to your care team, as they often have great suggestions for oral care products and additional nausea management options that might make your next rounds more comfortable.

9 days agoHi Tonja, thank you for sharing your experience. Going through 5 weeks of chemo, especially with TNBC, takes so much strength. ❤️ The nausea, mouth soreness, and daily discomfort can be really challenging, and it’s great that you’ve already found some small ways to make yourself more comfortable. Many patients also focus on supportive care during treatment, such as gentle nutrition support, oral care, and wellness approaches to help improve comfort and quality of life while they continue their medical treatment. I’m wondering, besides nausea and mouth soreness, what has been the hardest part of your chemo journey so far? Are you also experiencing fatigue, appetite changes, or trouble sleeping?

2 days agoI fasted before chemo and had no nausea. I had 6 months of it! I didn't eat anything the day before, day of chemo and day after. Only drank lots of water and sugar free Gatorade. There are lots of studies about it. I didn't lose any weight bc I ate a lot in between. It took some getting used to the first couple times but then it was a piece of cake.
