9 months agoI have stage 2 IDC grade 3. er+pr+ hr-micro amount to sentinel lymph node and also focal Lymphatic and / or Vascular Invasion-oncodx score 17 shows no chemo needed. Any one else have Focal LVI without needing Chemo?

This is a great question that many people with similar pathology findings wonder about. Your oncotype score of 17 and specific tumor characteristics create a unique situation where treatment decisions can vary. Others in the community may have had focal LVI with different oncotype scores or staging, so hearing from them could provide valuable perspective on how these decisions are made. Treatment plans often depend on multiple factors working together, so connecting with others who've navigated similar situations might help you feel more informed about the range of experiences out there.

6 months agoI had stage 2b with micro amount in sentinel node in 2002. I had radiation and CMF chemo at the same time. Protocol has changed since then. In 2016, I was dx with stage 4 in most of my bones and lymph nodes. I think I would get a 2nd opinion. I'd also use this app and fill in all your medical info. The app will pull the NCCN guidelines for your diagnosis. Prayers coming for you. Be safe.

6 months agoGo to the home page. There should be 3 horizontal lines on the left. Enter your information into the Diagnosis, Personal and the next one down... Chemo brain, can't remember the 3rd one's name. Treatment , maybe. That one will get to the NCCN Guidelines. Let me know if it helps.
