After surgery, many patients work with their oncology team to create a personalized treatment plan that may include options like chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy based on their specific diagnosis and test results. This is definitely a great question to discuss thoroughly with your oncologist, as they'll have all the details about your pathology and can explain the best next steps for your unique situation.
