2 years agoJust finished 16 radiation treatments. Did anyone have a really extreme rash underneath their breast? Mine is so painful and the skin so thin that it feels like it’s tearing apart. My doctor is prescribing a steroid cream so I’m praying this will ease it and allow it to heal.
Accepted Answer
Radiation-induced skin reactions, especially in sensitive areas like under the breast, are unfortunately common and can be quite uncomfortable. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences with painful rashes and skin changes during and after radiation treatments. The steroid cream prescribed by your doctor is often helpful for managing these symptoms, and connecting with others here who have navigated similar challenges may provide additional comfort and practical tips for healing.

6 months agoI had the same issue Jean. I’m sorry I know how painful it is. My doctor prescribed silvadene cream to use with aquaphor and I bought aloderma aloe Vera gel from Amazon that helped with the burning.
