a year agoI just finished 20 rounds of radiation, my skin did fine all the way thru. I applied my cream immediately after each treatment. I saw my radiologist on my last day 12/5 and he said everything looks great a little redness is all. BUT last night 12/10, oh my word!! WHAT DO YOU DO ABOUT THE ITCH!!??😢

Post-radiation skin reactions can be tricky because they sometimes show up after treatment ends, even when everything looked good during the process. Many people in this community have found relief through gentle moisturizers, cool compresses, or aloe vera, though it's definitely worth checking with your radiation team since they know your specific treatment area and can recommend the best approaches for managing this discomfort.

6 months agoPrescription steroid cream. You can take benadryl by mouth but it can make you sleepy. Please call your radiation team so they can help
