3 years agoJust started Herceptin and Perjeta. It feels like a long road ahead. Anyone else on this treatment right now to share experiences with?

Many patients find connecting with others on similar treatment journeys really helpful for sharing practical tips and encouragement. This community has members who have experience with various HER2-targeted therapies, and hopefully some will share their insights with you about managing treatment and what to expect along the way.

6 months agoI’m Stage IV and just had my first dose of Herceptin, Perjeta, and Taxotere. The GI symptoms have been bad. I haven’t been told how long I’ll be on this regimen. I have a PET scan next week to verify mets. We know for sure it’s in my bones and brain, but I have a suspicious lesion in my liver and a nodule in my lung. I will try to remember to provide updates on this thread and hope you will too. God bless you.

6 months agoI’m stage 3 triple positive & I’ve had 14 of 17 infusions of Herceptin & Perjeta. I had chemo at the beginning then mastectomy & radiation so I’ve had fatigue my entire treatment. I also still have heartburn & diarrhea.

6 months agoI have been in Herceptin and Perjeta for almost 3 years. I am stage 4 so I will be on it for the rest of my life. I do stay a little fatigued but walking and exercising some helps with the fatigue. I also take anastrazole
