a year agoHas anyone heard of Signatere, a blood test to determine recurrence of TNBC? If so, how effective is it?
Accepted Answer
Signatere is a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) blood test that can help detect cancer recurrence by identifying tiny amounts of tumor DNA in the bloodstream. While this type of liquid biopsy technology shows promise for monitoring TNBC and other cancers, it's still relatively new and research is ongoing to determine its effectiveness compared to traditional monitoring methods. These tests can be valuable tools, but they work best as part of a comprehensive monitoring plan with your oncology team who can interpret results in the context of your specific situation and other clinical factors.

9 months agoI get the Signatera test every 3 months to detect any circulating tumor dna. The test has a 90% accuracy rate and is great for your “peace of mind”.

9 months agoI had my first test when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and the second one a year after my lumpectomy, which came back negative. 🙏 I will have my next test in January.
