I had lumpectomy a year and a 1/2 ago recently been having pain when touching breast. It seems to be in a different area than the lump that was removed. Any thoughts?

New or unusual pain after breast surgery can understandably cause worry, and it's reassuring that you're paying attention to changes in your body. Many people experience various sensations in the breast area months or even years after lumpectomy due to healing, scar tissue formation, or other normal recovery processes, but any new or concerning symptoms are always worth discussing with your healthcare team who knows your specific situation best.
