Making treatment decisions can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural to have questions about the best path forward. Every person's situation is unique, which is why having open conversations with your medical team about your concerns and preferences is so valuable. They can help you understand all your options and what might work best for your specific circumstances. The community here understands how challenging these decisions can be, and you're not alone in working through them.

7 months agoBut isn't cancer just broken cells? The longer they're left, the more they proliferate and eat into healthy cells? For me it's about taking the least destructive route to eliminate the broken cells and then build up my body to grow healthy ones. I had surgery to remove the damaged cells and am now focusing on a healthy lifestyle to nourish body, mind and soul. Edit: I just want to clarify I believe in taking or refusing whatever treatments you feel inclined to. It's your body and everything we do to treat cancer is a trade off. I just dispute the idea that cancer cells aren't broken and therefore shouldn't be messed with. They are broken but choosing not to treat is a legitimate decision only you can make. I declined radiation and chemo and had aggressive surgery. I wanted to get rid of the damaged cells without the systemic effects of radiation and chemo. It's a very personal decision only you can make. ❤️
