What you're experiencing sounds incredibly concerning and frightening, especially given your profession as a nurse. These cognitive changes you're describing go beyond typical chemo brain symptoms and definitely warrant immediate medical attention from your healthcare team. Many cancer survivors experience various cognitive effects at different timepoints after treatment, and it's important to have these new symptoms properly evaluated so you can get the right support and care. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your oncologist or primary care provider as soon as possible to discuss these changes in detail.

6 months agoSorry to hear. I would let your doctor ASAP. You may need a scan just to make sure nothing is wrong. I'm an RN also I retired because of chemo side effects.
