My current treatment is not shrinking tumors or keeping the cancer from spreading. My oncologist wants to switch to doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide. Has anyone had experience with this? Side effects sound harsh.

Many people in this community have shared experiences with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, and while side effects can be challenging, there are often ways to manage them effectively with your medical team's support. Consider reaching out to others here who may have navigated similar treatment changes - their insights about what helped them through the process could be valuable as you discuss this option with your oncologist.

Did four cycles of it. Fortunately the anti nausea meds work great so that wasn't an issue. It was the changing of taste buds, fatigue, and shortness of breath.

I also did this regimen, and agree the medication helps with the nausea. The fatigue was the hardest part for me for the first week or so. I was worried after I read the side effects, and overall it was manageable.
