6 months agoI’ve had 5 infusions and the only side effects I’ve had is loss of appetite. Have begun to have teeth tenderness on one side of mouth and flu like symptoms.

6 months agoI've had several infusions of something. The First few was fine. The next one knocked me on my butt. I got home and was hungry and I live about a block from a little grocery store. So I just started walking and about halfway there i knew I wasn't going to make it. So I turned back and went straight to bed. Slept for hours. Lesson: have some easy food to eat. I don't know how tired I was as i sleep badly the night before. It was also a long day to have everything done (blood, chemo in arm, cat, bone scan then the Zometa. I'm 73.

6 months agoI went for a walk after my infusion and by the time I was done I felt like someone had beat me with a board. I had flu-like symptoms - very achy and a bad headache. I read later that that is a side effect of Zometa. I have another infusion in July… sigh

6 months agoI’m supposed to have the zometa infusion in April. After reading the meds that are in it I don’t think I will do it! Can’t understand why she wants me to have it as my bone scans were good

6 months agoI think it might reinforce the bones to stay strong. Ask and tell us what the Dr. Says.

6 months agoI wrote a question on this drug also. After about 2 weeks I had edema all over my body but most severely in both feet and up my legs a bit. I have never had swollen ankles or edema in my life. I still have some. I am afraid to get another infiin 6 months. I also had pressure on my chest
