Did anyone have a lower Oncotype (13) but a high risk ( just barely over the lip) Mammaprint?

Discordant results between different genomic tests can definitely happen and can feel confusing when trying to make treatment decisions. Many patients find it helpful to discuss these varying results with their oncologist, who can explain how each test works differently and what the results mean in the context of their specific situation. Others in this community may have navigated similar test result differences and could share their experiences with how they worked through the decision-making process with their medical team.

Yes! Nothing matched up so my Onco sent mine back out to a second testing facility. The results were drastically different. Zero chemo recommendation, when previously, there was. Ask for a second opinion!

Which test did he resend? The Oncotype or the Mammaprint? What were your results the first time on both and what were the results after he re-sent? I’m wondering if I should request to get mine done again. Also, the second time around, was yours sent off of a biopsy or the tumor tissue after surgery?

Oncotype the second time, Mammaprint the first. They kept the biopsy for further testing if needed. My risk went from High to a -1!

Gotcha. So your Oncotype the first time came back high, then the second time it came back -1? What was your Mammaprint result ?
