It's completely understandable to feel concerned about new symptoms after starting chemotherapy treatment. Chest tightness and breathing discomfort can happen with some cancer treatments, but these symptoms definitely warrant immediate attention from your healthcare team since they involve your heart and breathing. Please reach out to your oncologist or treatment center right away to discuss what you're experiencing - they can properly evaluate whether this is related to your specific medications and provide the guidance you need to stay safe during treatment.

6 months agoHi. I had bad chest pain when I had my first chemotherapy. I just had my 5th treatment and it has blown me up. And my digestive system is messing with me. I'm so uncomfortable 😣. I hope you start to feel better. God bless us all going through this.

6 months agoHi I felt chest tightness too. Still do after finishing all chemo. I’m kind of relating it to fluid retention but no Dr has confirmed that. It is around the incision area so maybe related to that still. I’m 9 months post mastectomy surgery and feel tightness around chest like I’m wearing a too tight bra.
