Has Anyone Had a Lumpectomy Without General Anesthesia?

I'm pretty sure my mother in law had that since she's in her 80s and had a very small tumor, was a 3-5 years ago

I was told nerve block is not used for surgery above the waist and had anesthesia through the tube

I had a rough time with the Tube. It’s been 5 days and still have reflux and sore throat.

I didn’t want the tube but they said it was necessary in case they had to do more
