Waiting on bloodwork to see if liver counts came down so I can start Opdualag. Just wanted to say I hope you all are doing well with your treatments and feeling good!!

Liver function levels typically need time to normalize before starting treatments like Opdualag, though the timeline varies for each person depending on their specific situation and what caused the elevation. Your healthcare team will be monitoring your bloodwork closely to determine when it's safe to proceed. The waiting period can feel challenging, but taking care of liver health first is an important step in your treatment journey. Thank you for sharing those kind words with the community - that supportive spirit means so much to everyone here going through similar experiences.

Hey William, got the call saying let's schedule your chest CT scan. Doing that tomorrow. πŸ™πŸ™ We'll see what we see.

Will be thinking about you and praying all goes well. Please let me know if you feel comfortable doing so. Just had my brain MRI yesterday, awaiting the results and getting blood checked tomorrow to see if this Prednisone brought down my levels. I think the waiting for the results are the worst then I also hate getting the results before the doctors do and trying to decipher what they mean.

I like putting mine in chetgpt. I've been doing that since the beginning. It's an interesting and informative conversation that also helps me understand what's what, generates questions for me to ask my oncologist. You should try it. πŸ˜‰ I'm available for additional conversation on FB or IG messenger @davidel57

Got my best report to date. Doc confirmed the latest CT report is good news. Stable is the word. We stay the course. Keep treating with Opdualag. Keep watching with CT scans now and again. Brain MRI he says because melanoma likes the brain. Anyway, waiting on a treatment bed. Absolutely full house at the Cancer center. πŸ™πŸ˜œ

You bet!! Praying you get positive results and are able to start treatment. Hopefully you can can reduce that prednisone as well. We discussed cutting back on mine depending on the bloodwork says next week but he wants to be cautious which I appreciate. Don't want damage my liver. Results anxiety waiting is real difficulty. 😬 Hang in there my friend. πŸ‘πŸ™

Great news David. I had my brain MRI the middle of March and all was good. Waiting till my next Pet scan to see if cutaneous nodule on my left lateral knee is metastatic. Whole new ball game if it is πŸ™πŸ€
