13 days agoHello everyone,
I just finished another article regarding Kate Middleton. This one is about how cancer changes your life. The changes are something that no one is immune to, even royalty. This article helped me realize that I'm not the only person struggling with these kinds of issues. I hope at least a few people get something out of it.

Kate Middleton is stepping into a brand-new era like a lot of women do, with a new look. Middleton was recently spotted with her hair looking noticeably lighter, something that emulates generations of women that have been known to face changes in their lives by, well… going blonde.

Middleton debuted her new blonde locks during a church service at Crathie Kirk, located near the royal residence of Balmoral in Scotland, where she currently is spending time with the royal family during their usual summer getaway. The Princess of Wales was joined by her husband, Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence and Prince Edward and his wife Duchess Sophie.

Ironically, this has been the year for hair changes in the royal family, as Princess Anne also debuted a new hairdo earlier in the year—her first change in five decades.
For Kate, though, the change is significant for a whole host of reasons. First, because it comes as she and Prince William are said to be preparing to possibly take over as King Charles is in the middle of his own cancer battle. But also, for practical reasons. Middleton just went through a cancer battle of her own, and announced she was in remission late last year. But there has been concern about her health as of late. This new development might be enough those concerns to rest. At least, the ones that have to do with her cancer returning.
Dyeing your hair isn’t really something that would be recommended during chemotherapy, and the fact that Kate has very obviously done so means she’s likely fully in remission and is done with her treatment and ready to move on to another stage of her life. If anyone has the best medical advice available, after all, it’s Kate Middleton.

But that doesn’t mean she’s back to one hundred percent. New reports indicate it might take some time for Middleton, and perhaps the new hair is an indication of Middleton giving herself a little bit of a pick me up. She has, after all, stepped back from royal duties this summer, reportedly with Prince William’s full support. “Behind closed doors, she’s still struggling emotionally and tires a lot more easily; it’s taking longer to readjust to royal life after her cancer treatment,” a palace insider claimed to RadarOnline. The hair could just be her way of taking control of her narrative and how she looks.
Particularly after reports, also from RadarOnline.com that there have been concerns about Middleton’s weight. “Kate is painfully thin, and people are worried it’s a sign that she is struggling with her recovery from cancer treatment” a royal insider told the outlet.
But perhaps, it’s all a matter of people expecting too smooth a recovery. Cancer is cancer, and recovery is never linear. “She’s still not back to where she was before her diagnosis, and she’s not sure she ever will be, which is why she’s told William she needs a decent break before term starts in September. She’s unofficially stepped back from royal duties this summer – and of course, William is wholly supportive,” the first source explained.
Hopefully, she’ll be back in full force at the end of the summer, with her now blonde hair. Or maybe it’s just a summer thing? We shall see.
