5 months agoWhat are your side effects?? I’ve had chemo and the operation to remove the tumor. Next will be immunotherapy. I’ve had thrush since the last chemo which was the middle of April, so about three months. Struggling to get rid of it.

4 months agoI've had 14 Keytruda infusions. The only side effect has been occasional diarrhea. I've controlled with Imodium. My stage 4 cancer was widespread and inoperable when treatment started. It has almost completely disappeared. The original tumor continues to shrink and we will continue Keytruda as long as it continues to produce results. My PD-L1 was 90.

3 months agoHad 3 weeks of radiation for stage 3 lung/lymph nodes, then 3 weeks later started Keytruda. Have had 2 infusions with minor side effects. Next month I will finally have another scan to see if the radiation worked. I’m supposed to have infusions every 6 weeks for a year.

3 months agoWas diagnosed with Stage 4 NSCLC last September. I had 4 rounds of chemo and immunotherapy, then went to Keytruda only. I will continue for at least another year, with treatment every 3 weeks. The results have been amazing for me, as my cancer is genetic. When my oncologist saw the results of my molecular profiling, he said he was very hopeful that it could be very effective. My cancer continues to shrink.. I will have a PET Scan soon, and am staying positive. Side effects have been minimal; mainly joint discomfort and a bit of lethargy. But I'll take that instead of the alternative. I'm very grateful 🙏🏼

19 days agoBeen on Keytruda for over a year after 16 radiation treatments on my spine. PET scan last month showed I’m in remission! I also had mouth sores and thrush, overall weakness, and loss of taste. Lost 50 pounds mostly I believe due to lack of taste. For me, Keytruda works.
