3 months agoIs it my imagination but if is everyone not going to do immunotherapy for a year after chemo and radiation?

3 months agoTreatment plans can vary quite a bit between patients, even within the same cancer type, depending on individual factors like staging, overall health, and specific tumor characteristics. Many in this community have shared different experiences with post-treatment protocols, so connecting with others here who've been through similar journeys might help provide perspective on the various paths people take after completing chemo and radiation.

a month agoHi Linda I was only able to do 10 monthly immunotherapy sessions. I felt I just couldn't do it anymore. It also made my thyroid go up so Im on medicine for that they say till tge rest of my life. So I hope nothing goes wrong with you on that. Im suppose to get a pet scan but just too much fasting etc. Now my I insurance won't let me do scans so Im suppose to be working on that. They want scans every 3 months for 2 years! That's a bit much wouldnt you say. I am grateful for their help and for what seems to have gotten the cancer. I hope and pray it doesnt come back...I will pray for you too Linda. God bless you on this journey.

a month agoLet your oncologist know about the neuropathy he or she can help with that. I get mine in my left hand at night when I sleep. Not much I can do really just keep getting up working it out. Annoying too. I cant imagine doing this all by yourself..You are a very strong and determined woman. Blessings always.
