5 months agoI am receiving post surgery Chemo tx. Had my 1st if 3 infusions for 1C1 Ovarian Ca. I am nauseous daily and for 3 days, my heart races the minute I start moving from a sitting position. They say I’m likely dehydrated but I’m drinking lots. Any thoughts?

These side effects after your first chemotherapy infusion can be really concerning and uncomfortable to deal with. Racing heart when standing up, especially combined with ongoing nausea, are symptoms worth discussing further with your medical team since they can help determine if additional supportive care measures might help you feel more stable during treatment. Many people in this community have navigated similar challenges during their chemotherapy journey, so you're definitely not alone in experiencing these effects.

5 months agoHi Vicki, sorry to hear about your nausea. In addition to taking my prescribed nausea pills, I drink Nectar (the electrolytes powder) and it seems to help with my nausea and general health. Get lots of rest and feel better. Hugs!

4 months agoHi Vicki, just checking in on you. How are you doing? Hope your nausea and heart races went away. I’m also stage 1c1 and have four more infusions to go. Hang in there!
