2 months agoI just had a reoccurance and I will be having a secondary debulking surgery with a hipec procedure. Then I will be getting targeted therapy with Elahere. Anyone go through this? I am nervous because I work from home and Elahere can cause blurry eyes.

2 months agoFacing a secondary surgery with HIPEC and starting Elahere treatment brings up understandable concerns, especially when thinking about how side effects might affect daily activities like work. Many community members have shared experiences with both HIPEC procedures and targeted therapies, and connecting with others who've been through similar treatment paths can provide valuable insights and support during this time.

2 months agoI had debulking surgery with HIPEC. I didn’t receive Elahere but I had 6 rounds of chemo and 2 more post surgery. Debulking and HIPEC can extend survival, I’ve been told. You’re in my prayers

a month agoI am currently getting Elahere infusions. This is my third reoccurrence since ‘23. The eye drops 6 x a day is a bit much but I’ve had very little blurry vision. Going into my third infusion.

6 days agoI was on Elahere best I’ve felt with any of the treatments I’ve had. Unfortunately yes my eye sight became blurry, I asked the eye doctor if there was anything I could do and he said aside from the drops no however he was wrong , I tried my sister’s glasses on one weekend and low and behold they helped me see some, but it wasn’t my prescription so I got my eyes checked and they gave me glasses and now I can see again . Don’t get anything expensive because your eyes can change again, but man what a difference. I wish you all the luck.
