You're so close to finishing this challenging journey, and it takes real strength to keep going through those difficult side effects. Managing symptoms like these during treatment is tough, especially with that daily drive, but many find that staying connected with their care team about symptom management can help make these final days more manageable. Your positive outlook and faith are inspiring to others walking this same path.

2 days agoOne day at a time. I was fortunate enough to have my wife by my side every day. I tried different foods and cremes to manage the burning. Faith is very important for me. Prayers that this works for you as well! I’m cancer free so far (15 months after radiation). The incontinence is the big issue for me. Hope you can recover your control, if you have had those issues.

2 days agoThank you James for your encouraging words. It helps so much to talk to people who are or have gone through the same thing. God please touch James in away that only you can do. Restore his body to work the way you made us. Touch his heart and sole that he remains free of cancer and lives for you the rest of his life Amen. Good luck and may God Bless your days to come

a day agoI completely agree - you're doing amazing to push through these tough final days, and it's definitely worth asking your team if there's anything they can do to help with the burning and discomfort to make these last 10 days a bit easier.
