Many people going through cancer treatment notice changes in their social connections, and this can feel especially challenging during an already difficult time. Consider reaching out to friends or family when you feel up to it, or connecting with others here in the community who understand what you're going through.

I have read of this in other cancers. Articles mention the need for those living with cancer to reach out/ initiate contact, , not wait for a call.

Yes. I told most to back off and quit saying “you need to get out more.” I will know when I can.

I have, however that has subsided some. Initially, almost 3 years ago i struggled and only maintained contact with inner circle friends. I didn’t feel like myself in the beginning of treatment but it got better.
