a month agoRang the bell today after 25 days of radiation. What a load of my mind. My God was with me every step of the way. My wife also road along with me for support on all 25 treatments. How many wives would do that. Will meet with Doctor in three months to check PSA. Will remain on hormone therapy till then. Im happy but worried about all my brothers that are still in the process. I pray that each and every one of you make it till the end with positive results. That those that are still going through the fight to never give up. It may seem dark but I'm pulling for each one of you. God touch my brothers.

Completing 25 radiation treatments is a significant milestone that brings both relief and mixed emotions as you transition to the monitoring phase. The support system you describe and your concern for others in the community shows the strength that helps many patients navigate this journey - wishing you peace of mind as you move forward with your follow-up care.

a month agoIm currently doing 25 or 30 days of Radiation. Having doctor meetings weekly and dietitian. We going over food changes suppliment changes. Im on 6 months shots. Basically diet is eliminating Carcingenics. More fruits and veggies per plate less red meats. I was big on steaks and Ribs and bar b q in my physical working years. I'm doing changes in diet during this time. Im low/ intermediate risk. Doing the Radiation treatment was recommended. I stop doing weight lifting and using stretch cords and treadmill daily 5 times a week. Just going with the changes to make. I not really having any side effects much to really say. It's more of just changing habits. I've always gone to do my physicals yearly or bi year ly. Now yearly. So that way if any issues. They can jump on the issue. I have a uncle that had prostate cancer in 60s also. He is in his late 80s now. He stopped smoking, drinking and eliminating Carcingenic for most part. Thats having mostly fruits and veggies and less meats on plate and changing snacks and replacing with the dietitian choices to help replace with something else. He said he just listens to his medical team.

16 days ago2 weeks after radiation treatments feeling better more energy. Getting up at night every 2 hours pretty routinely. Everything seems to be getting back to normal. Still having muscle pain from hormone pills, hoping this goes away after treatment stops in 3 months. Praying that each and everyone of you press through till the end and the sun will shine again and this adventure is behind you. Thanks for all the comments during my treatments it really helps when you know others are going through the same thing. God touch the hearts and minds of your people. Love you all!
