3 years agoJust received a copy of my pathology report in MyChart and it is like reading another language! Can anyone explain the difference between Grade and Stage to me?

7 months agoI am in the same position. I have been told I have her2- and BRAC gene mutations. Cervical cancer and MDS. My primary doctor is pretty useless and doesn't explain anything to me. I have been sent to five specialists and just get passed on to do more labs and more specialists. I feel I'm stuck at a dead end. I have been on strong antibiotics for three months and have to do another three to help stop the spread of the myeloid bacteria in my blood. But each doctor is waiting on another and it feels like a never-ending circle.

7 months agoStage refers to how far your disease has progressed. Grade refers to rate of cell growth compared to normal cells.
