3 years agoWhat do I need to do to prepare for radiation therapy?
Accepted Answer
Getting ready for radiation therapy can feel overwhelming, but your medical team will guide you through each step of the preparation process, which typically includes planning sessions, skin care instructions, and positioning practices. Many community members find it helpful to ask their radiation oncologist about what to expect during the planning appointment and how to care for their skin before and during treatment.

7 months agoStart prepping your skin asap. Ask your dr. or nurse obviously but i found using Manuka honey as a moisturizer worked very well! I hardly got burnt and my skin did not blister.
