2 months agoDiagnosed 12/12... All of the emotions have hit me except anger. My brother literally got done with his prostate cancer treatment 7 days before my diagnosis. I'm sad, scared, can't sleep, have questions, and don't know where to even start.

2 months agoManaging overwhelming emotions after a cancer diagnosis is completely normal, and many people experience this flood of feelings - fear, sadness, and sleeplessness are common responses to such life-changing news. Consider reaching out to a counselor who specializes in cancer support, connecting with others in this community who understand what you're going through, and taking things one small step at a time as you navigate this new journey.

2 months agoI kept a little notebook within arms reach and wrote down every question that popped in my head. It helped me a lot. Once the question was written down it helped to not stress about it as much. It is also great for your first meeting with the oncologist, you will already have a lot of questions to go over with them. Best of luck 🤞

2 months agoThat is a great way to look at it. My oncologist said to worry about the battle directly in front of you each day.
