4 months agoThe timing for starting breast cancer treatment can vary based on many factors, but healthcare teams generally work to begin treatment within a few weeks of diagnosis once staging is complete. While waiting for rescheduled appointments can feel overwhelming, taking the time needed for proper staging helps ensure the most effective treatment plan - and many patients in this community have shared similar experiences with appointment delays that didn't impact their outcomes.

3 months agoSame. It seems like forever before they begin treatment. I’ve had the MRI and PET scan. I’m stage 3 HER2+ so chemo first before surgery . It’s a lot to process. I just want the breasts gone stat. Not even sure what to expect with chemo. Oncologists and port appointments get delayed. The waiting is killing me.
