21 hours agoI was recently diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer and my care team is discussing breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) as one of my treatment options. They explained that this surgery removes the cancerous tissue while keeping most of the healthy breast, and that it's often followed by radiation therapy to help reduce the risk of cancer returning in the breast. I'm trying to learn more about what this experience might be like and would love to connect with others who have been through something similar. • If you had breast-conserving surgery for Stage 0 breast cancer, what was your recovery experience like? • What advice would you give to someone considering this treatment option? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any tips that helped you along the way.

16 hours agoMany people find that recovery from breast-conserving surgery is generally manageable, with most experiencing some initial soreness and fatigue that gradually improves over the following weeks. This community is a wonderful place to connect with others who have walked this path, and sharing experiences about recovery timelines, comfort measures, and preparing for potential radiation therapy can be incredibly helpful for making informed decisions with your care team.
