19 days agoHello! Anybody here have ER low-positive diagnosis? I'm ER low-positive (3%), PR negative and HER2 negative. Stage 1, Grade 2. 13 mm. I'm trying to figure out if chemo is likely, but this seems to be a "grey area". Many low ER-positive tumours behave like Triple Negative and without the estrogen receptor, encocrine/hormone treatment isn't very effective. But it's small and early stage. Anyone similar? I'm told it's not very common?

19 days agoER low-positive breast cancer can indeed feel like a gray area in treatment planning, and it's completely understandable to have questions about what comes next. This subtype does present unique considerations for oncologists, as treatment decisions often involve weighing multiple factors beyond just the hormone receptor status. Many community members have shared similar experiences navigating these nuanced diagnoses, and connecting with others who understand this specific situation can be really valuable. Consider bringing a list of questions to your oncologist about treatment options and asking about genomic testing that might help guide decisions for your particular case.
