3 years agoI had a core needle biopsy two days ago and am so anxious waiting for my results. How did others manage the time between biopsy and results?
Accepted Answer
Waiting for biopsy results can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural to experience anxiety during this difficult time. Many community members have found that staying busy with gentle activities, practicing deep breathing exercises, or connecting with trusted friends and family can help manage those anxious feelings while waiting for news from the medical team.

7 months agoHello. I understand this position - just went through it. It took about 3 days for the results to be posted and it confirmed I had DCIS. Lots of prayer and positive thinking - be well!

7 months agoI wish I had good advice to share but I am having major anxiety waiting on my results too. I'm sorry you're in the same boat with the waiting. I hope your dx comes back B9

7 months agoKira, I did my best to maintain my regular schedule while waiting. Going to the gym every morning, meeting with girlfriends, Christmas shopping. I had my core biopsy on December 7 and the results were given to me December 19. My doctor told me he sends 10 women for biopsies and 1 comes back positive so the odds are with you.
