Have you experienced side effects from MRI contrast dye?

I am allergic to contrast mediums, so they pre medicated me with prednisone and benadryl starting the day before my mri.

I told them I was concerned because I am allergic to the iodine contrast CT scan dye. I was told this dye is safe… piece of cake… NOT. He was totally unconcerned of my several adverse effects after the MRI stating he never heard of them.
