Hi Everyone. Been Diagnosed again. Mestasis Breast Cancer In the Spine Bone. I've been my own advocate. Had to learn that along the way. Gotta 2nd opinion. Happy I've been doing the work on me and of me. My Oncologists and I , agreed on a treatment. Exemestane and Everolimus. I'll be starting that this month. Getting another pet scan first to give me a base on where I Am. Then I'll make a base decision. I've been on xgeva for my Bone health. Anyone on the cocktail exemestane and Everolimus? Educate me on your experience. Thank You. Have a Healthy Day People! Faith Over Fear🌺

Thank you for sharing this update and showing such strength in advocating for yourself throughout this journey. Getting a second opinion and working closely with your medical team shows incredible self-advocacy skills that can inspire others in similar situations. Many community members have experience with various treatment combinations, so hopefully others will share their insights about exemestane and everolimus to help answer your question. Your positive attitude and "Faith Over Fear" approach can be a real source of encouragement for others facing similar challenges.

Hi my name is Mary and I too have Mestasis breast cancer. Always remember that it’s considered stage 4 wherever it spreads. I went 8 yrs in remission and went regularly for tumor markers and pet-scans. Unfortunately everything was going great until 8 yrs later the pet-scan showed a tumor also on my spine. In the meantime was trying all kind of chemo drugs and radiation (which burned my throat and I couldn’t eat or drink for almost 6 weeks . It was horrible. Now she tried one more pill to see it would work to bring down the markers but didn’t work. The last pet-scan showed that the tumor was still resting on my spine and a lot of irradiation or slight spread. Thank God everything is clear. So now I’m back on chemo every 3 weeks for 5-6months. As u know it’s not fun. I’m tired all the time and until recently had horrible back pain. Now with what they’re giving me it seems that the back pain is easing up. Now please tell me about urself and how u’re doing? I look forward to hearing from u Mary
