3 days agoI was recently diagnosed with an adenocarcinoma flat polyp in my transverse colon. Operation is soon to remove 12 inches and lymph nodes. CT was clear. CEA normal. Hoping for no lymph node activity. I’ve felt fatigue for the last 2 years during sports. I believe it was related to my body fighting this. Hoping for the best.

3 days agoFacing colon cancer surgery can bring a mix of worry and hope, and sharing with this community is a caring step toward support. Recovery after colon surgery for adenocarcinoma is different for everyone, so the surgical team is the best source for what to expect with hospital stay, eating, activity, and when pathology results will come in. Writing down questions before the appointment can help, and members who have been through colon cancer surgery are welcome to share their recovery tips and encouragement here.
