Multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings bring together specialists from different areas like oncology, surgery, radiation, and other support services to collaborate on creating the best approach for each patient's unique situation. These meetings typically involve discussing test results, reviewing treatment options, coordinating care between different specialists, and answering questions about next steps - it's a collaborative process designed to ensure comprehensive care planning tailored specifically for you.

Spent four hours at Duke University Cancer Center and was very pleased with the progress. I am scheduled for robotic surgery to remove the tumor with no further treatment required! My surgeon also does lung transplants so I feel that I am in good hands! Feel a great sense of relief!

Carol you and I have the exact same thing going on! The tumor board met last Wednesday and I’m scheduled for robotic surgery on 12/23 and at this point they think no further treatment is necessary!!! Great news for both you and I! 🙌
