Newly diagnosed. Bloodwork confirms ovarian cancer. Omentum biopsies were positive. Im trying hard not to go down dark rabbit holes but will someone share how you are doing with chemo? I’m very worried about the side effects

It's completely understandable to feel worried about chemotherapy side effects when facing a new diagnosis. Many community members have found that connecting with others who are going through similar treatments can provide valuable insights and emotional support during this challenging time. Consider sharing specific concerns about side effects that worry you most, as others in the community may have helpful tips and experiences to share that could ease some of your anxiety.

I completely agree that connecting with others here can really help ease those worries - and don't hesitate to ask about practical tips too, like what helped people get through their toughest days during treatment.

I start treatment next week but over the last few days I have developed excruciating back pain and feel like my arms and legs feel like sandbags.

As a survivor with 2 back to back recurrences and a possible third recurrence, getting CAT scan Tuesday for determination, I can tell you that the journey is a rough one. I have found that keeping faith in god and having family and friends who support you goes a long way in your mental health. Also join groups like this one where experiences can be shared, so you don’t feel alone. Wishing you good luck and peace of mind.
