a month agoI was diagnosed with Hepatocelluar Carcinoma. In October 2025.had Surgery on Dec 5th to remove two large tumors. The Largest one was 9cm it was resected the smaller one was 6cm it was ablated. January 6 the pain caused me to go to the er. More pain pills that didn't actually help. Called the Surgeon repeatedly. No reply. Finally had to request another CT or MRI. It appears that I now have additional tumors. Just referred to An Oncologist. I really don't like the Care I'm receiving. .

a month agoWhen cancer returns after surgery, the next steps typically involve meeting with an oncology team to discuss treatment options, which might include additional surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or other approaches depending on the specific situation. It's completely understandable to feel frustrated with poor communication from healthcare providers - advocating for better care and seeking a second opinion are both reasonable steps when the current medical team isn't meeting expectations for responsiveness and support.

13 days agoAre you on the list for transplant? I would definitely change surgeons! Unresponsiveness is unacceptable! Best of luck to you.

12 days agoI completely agree with this advice - meeting with oncology for next steps is crucial, and I'd also suggest asking them specifically about timing for treatment options since you're dealing with pain that needs addressing alongside the cancer care.

12 days agoHey, let me tell you what happened to me today. I had an appointment with the guy who put the port in my chest to receive chemotherapy. I recently had a CAT scan and it showed that the initial surgery one year and four months ago to open up the binary tube, they put a stent in me to open up the tube, so it can flow the bile to where it needs to be flowing. I asked them to just cut out that section of cancer and just put the two tubes together like they did with Randy Moss the NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver because he had the same surgery and same diagnosis as me, but they didn’t give me the surgery they put a stent in me. They fixed his tube and I asked why The doctor said to me was because he wanted to start the chemotherapy right away because my levels were higher than any level that he or any other Doctor Who stole my levels have ever seen in your life so I did what they said and now here I am one year and four months later, and the CAT scan showed that the stent is partially blocked now they want to go and do another surgery or they go in and remove the stent and replace it instead of doing the surgery that I recommended from the beginning of time now after they do this stent I’m gonna tell them you need to fix this and stop putting Band-Aids on it because I’m gonna retire soon and I don’t know if my insurance is gonna cover this stuff so they need to do something right away do you understand me? I’m just tired of being told by doctors what to do. I am the master of my own body. My body is a temple, and I worship it.. when I was 17 years old I got shot. Do you know when I was in the hospital? I punched two doctors while laying on a surgery bed because they lied to me and they were going to do a procedure on me that they didn’t tell me they were gonna do that. That’s how I feel about doctors so I’m gonna tell this doctor one more time to please do the right thing and I wanna see how he does it. I’ll keep it all informed. It’s gonna be about two weeks from now so for all of you out there please stay healthy. Keep the faith do whatever you’re doing and whatever you can do I did a lot of holistic stuff and it worked and I’ve prayed a lot and believe in yourself. Your mind is very powerful. You can do anything if you believe in yourself that’s all I have to say God bless you all. Amen.

12 days agoI’m sorry I forgot to mention the doctor told me that that stent should’ve been replaced one year ago. It’s only supposed to be good for 4 to 5 months. This is why I don’t trust doctors again.
