a month agoI have metastatic breast cancer and I'm currently taking Kisqali (ribociclib), fulvestrant, and Truqap (capivasertib). I've been reading about how nutrition support can be really important during treatment, especially for managing side effects like nausea, taste changes, and appetite issues that can come with these medications. I'm thinking about working with an oncology nutritionist to help me stay nourished and feel better throughout my treatment. The idea of having personalized strategies sounds helpful, but I'd love to hear from others who've been in a similar situation. • Have any of you worked with an oncology nutritionist during treatment, and what was that experience like? • What nutrition tips or strategies have helped you manage treatment side effects and maintain your strength? 16 days agoI use extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil and lemon with spices like basil. Parsley. Turmeric And black pepper. Sometimes I mix the oil with a capful of apple cider vinegar. Watch your carbs. Sugar and dairy intake too. Hope this helps. God bless you with a full recovery.
