Why is my diarrhea worse on Verzenio and Faslodex?

I have the same diagnosis and diarrhea was a severe problem. I took Imodium up to eight times a day with a meal the is the BRAT diet, it really helped and drink a lot of water with electrolytes. I and on Enhertu and went off Perjeta which was causing the diarrhea. I also took cramping medication which was a game changer.

I was on Verzenio and my body couldn’t handle it… so the changed it to Kisqali … I was on 600 mg a day a little too harsh now in 400mg a day and my tumor marker with that and shots once a month has taken my tumor marker down to 1/2 of what it was… I’m still tired and hurt but I’m alive and love Kisqali

Kisquali is making my heart do weird things, otherwise it’s not bad at all

I started on Verzenio and arimidex. Tumor markers CA 27 29 were all over the place! First biopsy said HER2 low second one was her two negative. I did two rounds of infusions with Enhertu and had to stop due to heart issues. I was put on Kisquali and started that one July 15. My first set of labs showed that my tumor markers were starting to drop the next session of labs I had my tumor marker had dropped 1200 points! I’m also on Faslodex I haven’t had really any issues with either of the drugs, but of course, knowing me that can change at the drop of the hat. Back when I was first diagnosed 18 years ago, my oncologist then told me he had never had a patient one year into treatment have a reaction. I said well I’m your girl.! 18 years cancer free and now I’m stage four ER positive HER2 both my oncologist, call it heterogeneous with nets to my iliac .femur, sternum , spine, and ribs I believe. It’s getting really hard to remember all of this. But the treatment is working and I am grateful.!!
