2 months agoThis is such an important question to discuss with your oncology team, as they know your specific treatment plan and medical history best. Weight changes during cancer treatment can be challenging, and there are various approaches that healthcare providers might consider depending on individual circumstances. Many others in this community have navigated similar concerns, so sharing experiences here could be really valuable for everyone facing treatment-related weight changes.

2 months agoI have had stage lV metastatic er positive for almost 10 years. At present I am on just lestrozole daily. But I have been through chemo 5 months, radiation 4 different times in my life and ibtance. I take berberine. It works perfectly. Really keeps blood sugar low. I do exercise everyday with weights and exercise bike/ walking. Even if I am tired or achy w/pain. I stay at about 124. I have no evidence detected for tumors and CTDNA no tumor markers detected. Ask your oncologist to make sure.

a month agoI have gained weight as well, and I thought it was bc I live in assisted living and they feed me a lot of carbs. I haven’t heard of anyone gaining weight while in treatment. Thanks!
