a year agoHas anyone tried mistletoe injections from a homeopathic doctor? It’s not FDA approved so it’s not on my oncologist’s treatment plan, but with some recent Mets to my liver I am at the “try anything that won’t hurt” phase.

Many community members explore complementary approaches alongside their standard treatments, and it's completely understandable to consider all options when facing metastatic disease. While mistletoe therapy has limited scientific evidence and isn't FDA-approved, discussing any complementary treatments with your oncology team can help ensure they won't interfere with your current care plan and are safe given your specific situation.

7 months agoI looked into it but didn’t do it. Be sure to check with your oncologist and make sure it doesn’t interact with anything you are taking
