Hi folks. My tumor fraction from my Guardian Reveal blood test showed an increase. My doctor just added Truqaq and my tumor markers - the 15-3 Breast assay Just went up 10 points. Nothing earth shattering but concerning. Had that happened to anyone else on a new added treatment! I take Kisquali and get the fluvestrant injections monthly. Worried because my PET scan is Scheduled early June.

Treatment changes can understandably bring up concerns, especially when monitoring numbers like tumor markers. Many patients in this community have shared similar experiences with fluctuations during treatment adjustments, and it's completely natural to feel worried while waiting for upcoming scans. Hopefully others here can share their experiences with treatment changes and provide some reassurance during this anxious time.

Ask for a CT with contrast after 3 months of treatment to see if you have progression. Schedule it right now, if possible. Sometimes they book up quickly. God bless you, prayers coming your way.

Sometimes when changing meds the blood test will tick higher, because the cells are dying off. I found the same happened with me after radiation. I have been on TRUQAP since March ‘25. Ibrance quit working. I do experience nausea at times, but I just take anti nausea meds and keep pressing on. Prayers going up for you!
