18 days agoI'm back again! I wish these forums had a search feature so we could type the name of a topic (for example, the name of a medication) to bring up previous threads. My oncologist is switching me to Verzenio. Anyone been on this medication? I was lucky to experience only mild side effects with Kisqali. Verzenio seems like I'm in for some GI issues ahead... :(

18 days agoMany community members have shared experiences with Verzenio, and it's completely understandable to feel concerned about potential side effects when switching medications. While experiences vary from person to person, connecting with others who have been on this treatment can provide valuable insights and support during this transition.

18 days agoI’ve been on escalating Verzenio doses for 5.5 months now. I had no symptoms for the 200 mg and 250 mg daily dose except mild constipation which I manage with one stool softener a day. At the 300mg dose I seem to have some loose stool lately but never to the extent of diarrhea. I’m still taking the stool softener but consider phasing out this week. When I was diagnosed I had horrendous pain all over my body and needed help getting out of bed. Now I’m back to my Zumba, core and strength routine so I feel blessed for Verzenio and Faslodex (shots every 28 days).

17 days agoI insisted on full molecular screening to confirm I had no mutations (Guardant 360) since I had been on Letrozole for 13 years. I had the recurrence 3 years after I stopped Letrozole - wish I had stayed on letrozole forever. Thankfully I did not have any mutations. Many doctors discourage genetic testing at the start of treatment but for me it made total sense and not waste time while another drug could be doing a better job.
