Hi everyone hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I was diagnosed in 2011 I had bilateral mastectomy then for 7 years I was on Aromisin….fast forward to 9/23 started with inflammation back pain. I was diagnosed with mBC in my spine and most of my bones also it in my appendix (removed) on my omentum and my stomach. I’ve been on Ibrance, Fasledex, and Xgevia. I have a lot of shortness of breath and knee pain nausea.. but I think it’s the Fasledex causing the shortness of breath. Has anyone else noticed that. I tell all the doctors but no one seems concerned. I have had som radiation on my tibia and fibia for pain it helped some.

Shortness of breath can indeed be a concerning side effect that deserves attention, and it's important to keep advocating for yourself when symptoms persist. Many community members have shared similar experiences with various treatments, and discussing specific side effects with others who understand this journey can provide valuable insights and support.

I completely agree that shortness of breath deserves attention and you should keep advocating for yourself - maybe also ask your doctors if they can help you track which specific situations make it worse so you can get a clearer picture of what's going on.

Thank you. I’ve been depressed, I just lost my last living brother on 11/18. He was diagnosed in October with esophageal Cancer. He lasted 6 weeks. I sometimes think he was lucky to go so fast. It was hard watching him go. Then i feel guilty that I am on 2 years since my second diagnosis. Happy and Blessed New Year everyone 🎉🎈😘

My low white counts and platelets gave me shortness of breath. When my platelets got below 7.5 I was eligible for a blood transfusion. I was on the same TX. Also, for bone pain I take 90 mg of cymbalta daily. My bone mets were in all my bones except below my elbows and knees. I haven't had any bone pain.

Since you have depression, see a psychiatrist, ask them for cymbalta. They will probably put you on it gradually increasing it over 3 months. This dis-ease can be very depressing. After 3 months I told my psychiatrist "apparently I don't have depression, I have mBC". He said I'm keeping you on the cymbalta. I thought the reason I couldn't get up in the morning was from depression. Keep advocating for yourself. Sometimes it is hard to find a psychiatrist, but keep looking, get on a wait list. Psychiatrist treat with medication. Psychologist, therapist can't prescribe meds. They use behavior talk. Good luck and prays.
