2 months agoI started Enhertu as a first line in May 2023 as part of a clinical trial. I got a tiny bit of neuropathy and had a lot of nausea. I took a lot of Zofran. My breast tumor disappeared, my lymph nodes were clear and my liver mets shrunk to less than half the size when they were first found. In November that year, my Echocardiogram showed my ejection fraction went down by 20%. They made me skip a treatment and I had progression in my liver mets. I was kicked off the trial. My next line was Taxol, herceptin and perjeta. After 6 months I stopped the taxol and now just get h & p and I've been stable since June 2024. Good luck. Im sure you'll do very well on the Enhertu ❤️❤️❤️

2 months agoHi my name is Mary. I’m just starting on that chemo now. I had my first infusion almost 2 weeks ago and it makes u very tired. Occasionally I get nausea and hardly any appetite. My hair already starting to thin so I’ll probably end up losing it again. This is my second time around with chemo. Hopefully it will put me in remission like it did before. However I guess u just have to deal with the side effects and pray that it works. I’ve been fighting this battle for 12 yrs. U try not to think about but somehow it seems to end up back in ur mind anyway. As my husband says”one day at a time” believe me I try but it’s not easy. The fight becomes very tiring after awhile but we all have to keep fighting until it turns out that there’s nothing to fight for. So keep fighting as I and hopefully we’ll all make it together. Mary

24 days agoHi use to have really thick hair but have lost a lot of it. It’s short but I haven’t lost all of it this time. I still enough to go to the beauty shop to have it blown. Listen I look at it this way it should be the worst thing that happens right? I go for my 3rd infusion on Monday day, can’t wait!!!! Hope u’re feeling better. The tiredness it’s was getting to me. I haven’t any energy and we’re trying to move. As u know it’s horrible! Good luck and u’ll be fine. Just expect the ups&downs with this horrible nightmare! I’m her anytime! Mary
