2 years agoHi, has anyone gotten a radiation treatment to spot treat a bone met that hasn’t fully gone away? This is being recommended to knock out one remaining spot for good. Thanks!
Accepted Answer
Spot radiation for stubborn bone metastases is a treatment approach that many people in this community have experience with. It sounds like your medical team is being thorough in targeting that remaining area, and this type of focused radiation can be an effective way to address persistent bone mets. Hopefully others here will share their experiences with similar treatments to help you know what to expect.

6 months agoHi I did for my left thigh about 2 weeks ago because I had pain. I haven't noticed a change yet but I do hope it knocked out the cancer. I hope it works for you too💜

6 months agoI had a bone met in my thigh. Doctors treated it with radiation. I have been cancer free for 4 years. It was very effective. It was an easy treatment in terms of no side effects.
